This is what can happen if your shower tray isn’t sealed correctly and has plasterboard directly behind tiles.
This is the damage caused by water slowing trickling down the wall and rotting the floor joist underneath.
Don’t leave leaks, get them sorted asap or the damage will be more expensive to fix and in some cases will require a huge amount of work.

Another happy customer.

Dormer insulated, boarded, membraned and cladded with new windows, facias and guttering ☑️

I was able to get a photo of the whole dormer now the scaffolding has been taken down. The before and after shots are like chalk and cheese. We are so happy with the result.

A lot of work has gone into transforming our dormer from old and tired to modern and new. Both windows have changed in size, the old bitumen membrane that once was the only barrier to outside has now been replaced with OSB board, new breathable membrane and 120mm of insulation. Hopefully it's goodbye to the cold winter nights.
To finish it off I have cladded the whole thing with CEDRAL CLICK tea green cladding and new agate gray facia boards. It's been challenging and awkward but I am so happy with the outcome.
