For interior renovations, decor and flooring, most people like everything finished before Christmas. Ambiance LVT is 3mm thick with a 0.7mm wear layer, polyurethane coated with bevelled edges. Suitable for commercial and residential properties and comes with a 30 year warranty for residential use.

Can you tell the difference between real wooden floors and luxury vinyl flooring? Admittedly, LVT isn't the real thing, but think for a minute - are there advantages in not having real wood? Well, yes, there are.
Real wood looks great, but it can warp or lift in temperature changes. It isn't waterproof so both engineered and solid wooden floors can become damaged in high-moisture areas. Ambiance LVT is water-resistant and highly impervious to moisture, making it a great choice for high-moisture areas like kitchens and bathrooms. Wooden floors are more expensive, are prone to scratching and denting, and create a lot of noise when walked on. The 'Accoustic Range' by Ambiance reduces impact noise with a high performance 17 dB sound insulation backing for quieter, more comfortable living and working spaces, making it highly suitable for commercial use or apartments. Once professionally laid, Ambiance or Prima will last for years due to its durability and ease of maintenance, whereas wooden floors need to be regularly maintained - resanding, coating and finishing every few years. Is it too hot to be thinking about flooring? It won't be long until the weather turns again and we think of things needing doing indoors. if you need any info about flooring and the different types and advantages, disadvantages etc, just let us know. Flooring will be in place for a long time, so it's best and more economical, to give it a lot of thought beforehand, with so much choice around today.
