Liverpool MakeFest - THIS WEEKEND!

Sunday 13th September, 11am - 5pm
The Tapestry Building, Constance Street, Liverpool, L3 8HL

MakeFest brings together makers, artists, engineers, crafters, coders and curious minds from Liverpool and beyond to share their projects, skills and ideas.

It is a free, family-friendly celebration of creativity, technology and the wonderful things people make.

Visitors can expect everything from robots, electronics and 3D printing to textiles, crafts, LEGO, coding, art and unusual inventions.

There will be demonstrations to watch, things to discover and plenty of hands-on activities offering children and adults the chance to have a go for themselves.

Free entry. No booking required.

🛠️ Wirral Repair Cafe
Saturday 5th September, 1 - 4pm

Birkenhead Central Library, Borough Road, Birkenhead, CH41 2XB

There's not long to wait until our next repair session! Everyone is welcome to bring along an item in need of fixing, whether you have been before or you are planning to visit for the first time.

This list should give you an idea of the types of things we repair:

💚 Clothing and textiles
💚 Costume jewellery
💚 Electrical appliances
💚 Software problems
💚 Toys
💚 Bicycles
💚 Wooden items
💚 Garden tools
💚 Ornaments
💚 Clocks
💚 Watch strap and battery replacement

Tea and coffee are an important part of a Repair Cafe and we always have a tasty selection of homemade cakes and biscuits too. The refreshments are enjoyed by volunteers and visitors alike. Do pop in for a chat and treat yourself to a hot drink and a snack - even if you don't have anything in need of repair!

It's all free of charge, although donations to Repair Cafe funds are much appreciated.
