When I first fitted these curtains earlier in the year forgot to take any photos. While discussing another project I got to see them again - definitely my favourite fabric of the year.

Loved making this lampshade - it’s a french drum style and the fabric is gathered at the base and pleated at the top. All done by hand and requires a mountain of pins ➡️
Fabric is a lovely lightweight linen which gathers beautifully.

A few pics showing the journey from start to finish for some bay roman blinds and inverted pleat interlined curtains. Swipe through to find the start.
For this room the client already had an idea of which fabric they wanted to use and I gave them a couple of design options and pole finishes. The curtains have an inverted pleat heading giving a smart, elegant feel and the roman blinds allow an uncluttered view out into the garden and sea beyond.
Obviously I had to include Tony my trusty fitter who is a master at fitting curtain poles.

A little door curtain to keep these arctic draughts at bay. Lovely Ian Mankin Filey textured weave fabric in cobalt.
Double pleat heading allows minimal stack and ceiling fixed track not only looks super smart but also means those pesky draughts don’t come over the top - win win all round.
