🌧️ When the weather tries to stop you, determination takes over! 💪

This week has certainly tested us, but with a tight deadline and a very special reason for getting the job finished, failure simply wasn’t an option.

Our customer needed this outdoor entertaining space completed in time for their daughter’s 21st birthday celebrations this weekend, so despite the rain showers and challenging conditions, the team pulled it out of the hat and delivered right on schedule! 🎉

The project started by infilling the existing flower beds and creating a solid concrete base to provide a stable foundation for the new installation. We then set out and levelled a new timber framework, carefully supported on plastic pedestal feet to help protect the timber from moisture and improve the longevity of the structure.

From there, we installed brand-new timber decking and steps before constructing a completely bespoke pergola designed specifically for the space. To create the perfect evening atmosphere, we added feature LED lighting throughout and finished everything off with stylish new rattan furniture ready for family and friends to enjoy.

The result is a beautiful outdoor living area that’s perfect for entertaining, relaxing, and making memories.

Another of our garage conversion completed in Hythe this week.

Our client wanted to create an additional living space within their home, complete with a modern en-suite shower area transforming an unused garage into a warm, practical and fully functional room.

This project included:

• Initial design and planning
• Drainage and insulation design
• Building Control compliance and planning
• Installation of new cavity walls, ceiling and floating floor construction
• Structural breakthrough into the existing house
• Removal of the old garage door and installation of a new double glazed window
• Complete new electrical and plumbing installation
• Full plastering and decoration throughout
• New en-suite shower room fitted with modern white shower panels
• New vinyl flooring installation
