when the mood board becomes a reality…

Prior to even having a deal on our current house I had my heart set on a forest green corner sofa, gold accents and a mixture of fabrics! I decided on this mood board back in first year of university when we had to do a residential project of our own choice…

2 years later I have achieved my Moodboard!

I love the idea of adding a pop of colour into a ‘neutral’ looking living room, which has been done by the forest green plush velvet sofa… even the dogs approve 🤍🧖🏽‍♀️

Well that’s me graduated, feel SO SO proud!!!!

Over the past three years of studying hard to gain a degree within interior design, it’s fair to say it has been a struggle and at times I was ready to throw in the towel.

Ended the year with a 2:1 and I now have a bachelor’s!!!! 🤍✨👩🏽‍🎓

Exciting project coming along, I am working alongside Chloe on creating a store concept for her fashion brand PETITE STUDIO. Here is the proposed mood and material board, client approved ✨

PETITE STUDIO has 6 key values:

🪩 Slow fashion
🪩 Slow turnover
🪩 Quality and fit
🪩 Aesthetics

But another huge value PETITE STUDIO have is to stand out from the crowd!

This project is based not only on the amazing store concept but, the metaverse and how much this trend is going to grow in 2023, with the rise of virtual reality and artificial intelligence. We will be looking into the stripped back look, featuring lime washed walls, all curved furnishings and natural elements throughout, including all furniture!
