Sponsorship Appeal!
Last year, our company Wakefields had the pleasure and privilege of providing and installing a cinema room at Marie Curie Hospice in Newcastle – you can read more about that here: https://www.togetherforcinema.co.uk/installations/marie-curie-hospice-newcastle/
This year feels even more personal. We’re proud to be creating a cinema room for Teesside Hospice – an incredible organisation very close to our hearts, as my family were able to spend precious time with my mam there before she peacefully passed away, surrounded by loved ones and the amazing Teesside Hospice team.
Working with Together for Cinema has been one of the most rewarding things we’ve ever done, and we want to continue – not only with Teesside Hospice in 2025 but also with other hospices and charities in the years ahead. A cinema room gives families a chance to escape life’s toughest moments and enjoy a film, concert, or shared experience together – creating comfort, smiles, and memories that last forever.
Importantly, none of the charities we support ever pay a penny. Equipment, installation, and aftercare are all provided by us and our industry partners, thanks to generous product donations and the tireless work of Together for Cinema’s founder, Ian Morrish.
To help raise funds, I’ve decided to put myself through the tradition of a personal challenge – this time tackling the London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday 14th September. This is no small feat, especially considering I’ve probably only sat on a bike about 15 times since my teenage years! I even spent half my holiday in Spain training for survival.
So here’s my ask: 👉 please sponsor me if you can. Every pound makes a difference, and every donation is truly appreciated. We’ll also share updates on the Teesside Hospice installation as a thank you to everyone who supports us.
I’ll be setting off with 49 other comrades riding for Together for Cinema at 9:30am – and I’d love your support behind me all the way!
