The original top was replaced with brand new teak veneer, finished with matching teak edge banding, then stained to bring out the rich natural tones. Finally, I applied a durable glossy top coat to protect it for years to come.

Following the recent garden party I hosted for my sister's 30th we realised we were desperately short on extra seating for guests. We knew we wanted some teak chairs because we don't really have the storage to pack furniture away and teak is very weather resistant! However, with quality comes a hefty price tag and the chairs we were looking at, whilst beautiful, were way out of budget. So, I had a look on Facebook marketplace and found 4 folding teak chairs for free!!

I purchased this Teak Restoration Kit which included absolutely everything I needed (I just used a few extra pairs of gloves) and now the crusty green chairs are looking brand new!! What a transformation!!

Now time to style up our beautiful new (to us) garden furniture on the new (DIY) patio!! 👀🥰
