Another local job completed in this Lounge and Hallway.
For this project we were asked along to replace this previously failed flooring due to insufficient preparation work.
After assessment we needed to strip the areas right back to the original sub floors. This consisted of removing the Amtico flooring, plyboard and Engineered wood flooring.
From here we applied .uk Damp proof membrane to the Dining area, applied 6mm plyboard to the existing floor boards, built all required areas up using .uk K40HB before giving the whole area a full coat of fibre reinforced smoothing compound.
Following all this preparation work we could then fit the customers new chosen flooring in the herringbone design.
Once again great team work on this project and we left after nearly a weeks work with a happy customer.
