Another bedroom project awaiting a few finishing touches.

This one is tucked away at the top of a substantial period property. We’ve layered small scale floral wallpaper, with a chocolate brown stripe on the headboard, William Morris print cushions and a handful of antiques, alongside a contemporary chair and glossy side table.

This layered mix of contemporary and classic is our go-to for characterful spaces.

More of this project to come…

A cosy corner with comfortable chair and handy gloss side table, adding some colour and balancing the antique pieces.

We love the mix of old and new, especially time-worn pieces like this that get better with age and make a scheme feel collected over time, rather than bought all at once.

A simple, fresh scheme that still feels warm and inviting.

This twin bedroom has lovely natural light and we wanted to keep that airy feeling while ensuring it felt cosy and inviting for guests.

We had the headboards made to feel extra luxurious and upholstered in Linwood Fabric fabric with its soft tones sitting beautifully alongside the Ian Mankin blue ticking valance.

The result is a characterful bedroom designed for comfort and relaxation.

How making this small en-suite even smaller created a far more functional space.

Instead of using every inch to make this bathroom feel larger we redesigned the layout to prioritise functionality. By bringing the left hand wall in we made the room smaller but gained a recessed mirrored cabinet- positioned opposite the window to increase the sense of space, a generous shower niche and a concealed cistern for a wall hung wc.

Proof that you don’t always need more space, just good design that starts with the floor plan, not the finishes!

Working with small spaces is always a welcome challenge. This en-suite was carefully reconfigured to make better use of every inch and improve the sense of space.

We introduced plenty of storage alongside layered patterns and rich burgundy tones, creating a space that’s as inviting as it is functional.

Swipe to see the before.

Thank you to the brilliant team who helped bring this project together. It’s always a pleasure working alongside talented people who care about the details.

Design is the result of many small, considered decisions that shape how a space feels to live in.

Swipe to see the thought process behind some of the details in this bathroom renovation.

Grateful for the team who brought these ideas into reality 🙏

The glamorous side of interior design… adding the finishing touches before photography.

Months of planning, decisions and site visits, followed by me spending an unreasonable amount of time hanging a towel just right!

This renovation has been a joy to work on and I’m looking forward to sharing more of it.

A huge thanks to for creating this reel and capturing the very last stages of the project.

It’s often the smaller details that require the most planning.

In this family bathroom the shelf is positioned seamlessly within the tile trim, bespoke cabinetry has been tailored to the room and an arched drying area gives a subtle nod to the Art Deco heritage of the house.

The success of any project lies in thoughtful planning and the expertise of a great team. This project is a testament to that. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this renovation to life.

Another month has flown by! We’ve been busy refining details, developing ideas and gathering inspiration, here are a few highlights from May in the studio.

1-3 A closer look at some of the beautifully crafted finishes we’re using throughout a current renovation project.

4-5 An inspiring afternoon spent

6-7 Family heirloom porcelain inspiring a dining room concept, we love to work with pieces that already have a story.

8-9 New samples arriving and finding their way into current projects.

10-11 Admiring the decorative paintwork during a trip to France.

12-15 Inspiration everywhere ✨patterned floor tiles, the perfect blue stairway, silk lined walls and hand painted details.

Back to the drawing board today feeling refreshed, inspired and ready for the month ahead.

Banquette seating is one of our favourite design choices for dining areas, perfect for long relaxed meals and lingering over chats.

Here’s why they work so well:

• Comfort- soft yet supportive upholstery means longer more relaxed dining.

• Space saving- corners can become practical seating areas, storage can be added underneath.

•Family friendly - perfect for little ones to all squeeze on together and keeps the teens at the table longer (always a win!).

•Adds layers- an area to add colour pattern and texture creating an inviting focal point.

Looking back at some of the spaces we’ve created for children 💕

These designs are a careful balance of functionality-storage, lighting and layout, mixed with their own personal touches and interests.

Children’s rooms need to evolve with them, support sleep, play and study as they grow. We always leave space in the layout for that shift, whether it’s a larger bed, a proper desk, or just allowing enough flexibility for them to move things around when they fancy it.
