Today I’ve been busy framing up some natural history prints — and a few have already found new homes! 🖼️

I also finished off a little gerbil, we’ve had some lovely pieces head out of the shop, and now we’re switching gears and getting everything ready for tonight’s pinning workshop. 🦋📌

A busy day, but exactly the kind we love. Now for an evening of pinning, chatting and creating! 🖤

🖤 WHAT TO EXPECT AT OUR PINNING WORKSHOP 🖤

Ever wondered what goes on at one of our pinning workshops? You’ll learn the basics of insect pinning and preparation, get hands-on with your own specimen, and be guided through the process from start to finish. 🦋🔬

Whether you’re completely new to entomology or already have an interest in natural history, it’s a relaxed, hands-on evening and you’ll leave with your own finished specimen to take home.

Last night’s Butterfly Pinning Workshop 🦋✨

Everyone got stuck into pinning their own butterflies and then got creative decorating their frames, turning them into completely unique pieces to take home. 🌿🦋

It was so lovely seeing all the different ideas come together — no two frames were the same! 💕 Thank you to everyone who came along and spent the evening getting creative with us.

We’ve got a few spaces left on our next Butterfly Pinning Workshops, so if you fancy creating your own butterfly piece, there are still a few spots available! 🦋✨
