Which way to Holywell Bay? New driftwood style signs, hand painted text in white and hung with jute twine. Choose from a standard shape or point to whichever way the beach is from your house. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use and made with reclaimed timber.

In the days before Bay Maid I painstakingly hand painted wooden shapes, smothered them in dots (one at a time 🤪) and sold them attached to greeting cards. I’m proud of that business, it was successful and kept me busy for years. Since the decision to finish Dotty Wood was rather sudden I still have a lot of the wooden shapes leftover. So these are my attempts to use them up in the new era of Bay Maid, similar but different. Truly limited. Hang them wherever or hang them on a 🎄. Some are finished with nature’s glitter, sand. Let me know which is your favourite.

New ☀️ Hand painted papers, torn and cut to create a seascape of Holywell Bay and its iconic Gull Rocks. The 15cm white wooden frame includes a selection of beach combed items, so you really can take the beach home with you.

Feeling genuinely sad about the massive rock fall at the north end of Holywell Bay during the night. It has completely devastated the cave and surrounding cliffs containing the holy well which is no longer accessible 😢
