Shepherds hut/ glamping / garden room / spare bedroom.
Here we have for sale our beautiful, fully bespoke hand crafted Shepherds hut. Never been used to rent out..build was started March 2023. So many more photos but could only add 10! Quite happy for it to go with everything in the pictures if you want it all ready made and exactly as it looks in the pics (apart from my ninja wood fire 😂)
Built upon a galvanized steel chassis. (With wheels)
From there we built the full timber frame (photos of during the build available upon request) and installed celotex insulation to all walls, floor and roof which is 100mm within the floor and roof and 70mm within the walls.
It's wrapped in a breathable membrane (pictures available) then clad with oversized fetheredge board with black platisol steel curved roof.
Internally clad with tongue and groove boards and 3 double glazed windows (all open oning)
And a hardwood stable door with solid oak detailing to the front surround.
Bespoke hand made kitchen unit with reclaimed scaffold board work tops and Belfast sink (not plumbed in as we have never used water down there)
To get the most out of the space we decided upon a pull down bed to allow for extra seating when needed. This has proved invaluable when we have used it. The bed can be pushed up into the wall to make use of the 2 benches, both benches have full storage under the seats for bedding etc, there is also double plug sockets at various points, you'll certainly not be lacking for power!
There are 2 custom made beam lights made from reclaimed timber. And then the kitchen area has 2 lantern lights, there are 2 bedside lights also. Each light works from its own stitch. There are 3 lights to exterior of the hut. 2 lantern style lights and a bulkhead light to the side.
We only have an electric fire in there at the moment which has provided more than ample heating.
The hut is roughly 4.8 metres long x 2.4 metres wide (approx 8ft x 16ft)
The electrics and consumer unit were all fitted and installed by a qualified electrician but this would need checking again once the hut has been moved.
We have put down herringbone lino flooring which looks fab!

Viewings are of course welcome and this is a very reluctant sale. We built this hut for ourselves and our family and it hasn't been used for glamping or anything, no one has stayed/slept in it, it's been just as a place for the kids to hang out or for us to have dinner in. It's been an absolute labour of love and we will really miss it.
