Part-Time Temporary Fabric Cutter / Production Assistant

Company:
We are a small, busy soft furnishings business producing high-quality made-to-measure items. We are looking for a reliable and capable person to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis, to cover sick leave.

The Role:
You will play an important part in our production process, working with a variety of fabrics and supporting the team to maintain our high standards.

Key Duties:
• Accurately measuring and cutting fabrics
• Using hand scissors and electric cutting knives safely and correctly
• Carefully following instructions and specifications
• Handling and moving rolls of fabric
• Maintaining a tidy and organised work area

The Person:
• Physically fit, as the role involves lifting and moving heavy fabric rolls
• A team player with a flexible, positive attitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and conscientious
• Experience preferred, but transferable skills will be considered

Contract Details:
• Part-time
• Temporary role to cover sick leave
• Hours to be agreed

This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy, and is happy working as part of a small, close-knit team.
