It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do. Loads of preparation on this one. Cracks all scraped out, bonding brushed in, filled with a flexible filler, scrim cloth over the top and filled out to make it smooth. Ceiling and walls all hit with dustless sander to get ready for painting. Flipping this room from dark to light completely transformed this room. From a dark moody space to a colour drenched bright and fresh modern new look. Products and colours on this coming from Crown Paints UK and Farrow & Ball

🪄 Hall, stairs and landing🪄

This hall stairs and landing was completed last week for a new customer. Plenty of preparation went into this one before any paint was applied. All ceilings, walls and woodwork done with dustless sander. Walls all prepared and sanded again. Walls went from a light grey to a lovely dark colour. Woodwork was worn out and has been brought back to life with white satin and black on the top rail and posts.

From start to finish this job was a tough grind. From ni****ne stains on ceiling to an old double layer of wallpaper. All walls needed stripped, cleaned, filled and prepared ready for new paper to go on. Woodwork all cleaned down, filled and prepared ready for paint.

Ceiling painted with StainAway white Matt.

Woodwork painted in white satin aqua quard.

Walls papered with a nice velvet finish paper from Noblett's Wallpaper & Paint.

Paint products on this one coming from Johnstone's Trade Paints. This has taken a room from the past and transformed it into a fresh modern living space for the customer.

This is one of the oldest properties I've worked in. Built in 1903 and it still has all its original features. High ceilings and big windows being the main features in every room. The walls were in a bad way so needed skimmed before my arrival. The ceiling had split all over and the woodwork had come away from the wall all round. There was a lot of filler and preparation involved here. Ceiling and woodwork done with dustless sander ready for paint. This room has been brought back to life with a fresh new look. Products on this coming from Crown Paints UK and Farrow & Ball .

Here we have a recent living room completed for a returning customer. Wasn't much preparation needed on this one. Ceiling and all walls sanded to rid any imperfections before going on with small amounts of filler on walls and woodwork. After second sand and cleaning down it was ready for paint. Colour on this coming from Farrow & Ball and they go really well together. Turned a normal living room into a cosy comfortable modern space.

Really enjoyed the work on this one. Was a lot of preparation went into it especially on the woodwork. Old wooden beams, doors, skirtings and frames with mahogany stain needed a fair bit of tlc. All woodwork filled, sanded and cleaned down before being primed with to kill that mahogany. Completely new look for this bedroom and it has been brought back to life again with it's fresh new vibe. All products on this one coming from Crown Paints UK .

🪄 Cloakroom & WC colour drenched 🪄

No before shots on this but the ceilings were white and the walls skimming stone. A lot of preparation went into these small rooms with filler on ceilings and walls with primer on all woodwork excluding the doors. All surfaces sanded down and cleaned ready for paint to go on. The colour here is Douter from Farrow & Ball and I think it goes perfectly with the wooden floor and doors. A classy modern new look for these small rooms.

Fresh and modern new look for this hallway. This job was a joy to work on. All old paper stripped. Walls sanded, filled and sealed with gardz ready for new paper. Ceilings prepared and painted in Brilliant white Matt. Woodwork all sanded down, cleaned and painted with aqua undercoat. Top coat was finished in white satin. All paint products are from Johnstone's Trade Paints on this one. Anyone who wallpapers knows the first sheet is the most important and the rest just falls into place. Really happy with this finish.

Love the finish of this bedroom. Really opens up the room with the colour choices. Nice and fresh new look with the addition of panelling on one wall. From removing the wallpaper to preparation for panelling to go on. Ceiling, walls, panelling and woodwork all prepared and ready for paint. Walls finished in Matt emulsion. Woodwork in a satin finish.
