Bubbles heads for his next seaside stop 🐟

Bubbles the fish is on the move again – this time you’ll find him near the Rendezvous Café.

Our six-foot cod made entirely from litter collected along the North Tyneside coast is touring six seaside spots to highlight how much plastic ends up where it shouldn’t. He’s got one more location to visit before he takes a well-earned winter break.

Come say hello, grab a photo, and help keep him smiling - please take your rubbish home or pop it in a bin.

Join us for a Make & Glaze Autumnal workshop starting in September! Using a range of hand building skills you'll learn how to make functional and ornamental ceramics. Items ranging from leaf dishes, pumpkins, ghost mugs and character figurines.

He’s flippin’ moved again! 🐟♻️

Bubbles the fish has found a new home — you’ll now find him showing off his scales outside The Priory.

Made entirely from litter, Bubbles is the work of local artists Beth Huttly and Amy Welch, created to remind us that the sea isn’t a skip.

Let’s keep our beaches beautiful: please bin your rubbish.

Look out for the newly named Bubbles on your beach adventures! However more importantly, put your rubbish in a bin when you leave!!

He's been on the move! 🐟♻

Bubbles the fish has now moved to St Mary's Lighthouse, the next stop on his tour after bidding farewell at Spanish City.

Bubbles, made from litter, is a striking sculpture created by local artists Beth Huttly and Amy Welch, as part of our campaign to highlight the impact of pollution on our coastline and marine life.

Please remember: always put your rubbish in a bin, whether you’re at home or by the sea, and try to avoid single use plastics wherever you can to protect our environment ♻
