Daisy Doodle is a small family run paint a pot parlour in the heart of Northallerton. This is a fantastic place to spend a few hours relaxing and creating your own unique piece of pottery. Don't worry if your not artistic, no experience is necessary and we have pattern books and stencils available. Our studio is open to the general public and you are welcome to come along individually or as a grou

p. We also host events for charities, schools, community groups or corporate team building. We provide everything you need from the paint and supplies to the inspirational ideas. You choose from our range of 100's of pottery items e.g. plates, mugs, money banks etc. You then leave your unique piece for us to dip in clear glaze and fire it in our kiln. Your pottery will then be shiny and much brighter than when you painted it, ready to collect in 7 days. We also have many workshops throughout the year and an adults evening on the first Friday of every month (booking essential)

Due to a cancellation we've had 4 places come up on this lovely full day mosaic workshop on Saturday 26th September, 10am-4pm, with Sue Kershaw, a local mosaic artist.
Choose from a wide range of designs and a huge selection of coloured glass tiles to create a bespoke 22cm plaque.
Or you can choose instead to use vintage china to create your mosaic choosing from a wide range of cut-out bases, including hares, hearts, butterflies and birds. Sue has also agreed to bring some Christmas shapes as our Christmas mosaic evening is now sold out. Enjoy rummaging through treasured china, some over 100 years old, for a truly original experience of creating your own unique mosaic. If you would like to incorporate some of your own treasures bring them along.
Suitable for beginners or those who have tried mosaic before. Full instruction and guidance provided including colour combining, tile cutting, tile layout and grouting.
What's more, lunch and all refreshments are included in the price😍

Wow you’ve kept us busy over these holidays!! We’re so grateful to every one of you. Because we’ve got some staff holidays coming up we’ve been working our kilns to the limit and are a little bit ahead of schedule. So regardless of what it says on your collection slip…..we’d really appreciate it if you could collect asap as we are very short of storage space. We’re open Wednesday to Sunday these next couple of weeks but watch out for changes to our opening times at the end of the month xx

🎄🎄It’s never too early for Christmas, so here’s a little workshop teaser. Come and meet renowned North Yorkshire mosaic artist Sue Kershaw for an evening of festive mosaic making. With a variety of festive shapes and a huge selection of coloured glass and tile pieces, the possibilities are endless🎄🎄
