Armistice Day & Remembrance Sunday 💙❤️💜

As we approach Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, we take a moment to remember and honour all those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to pay tribute to the courage and bravery of those who served and continue to serve.

A little note about our photograph: The beautiful poppyfield in the background was photographed in June 2024, at the back of Lodge Farm Industrial Estate, alongside Dallington Brook, Duston. ❤️

Whether you’re remembering a loved one, laying flowers at a memorial, or simply wishing to pay your respects, flowers are a beautiful way to show that we will never forget 🌹

🌷 Nearly 6 months in business! 🌷

I can’t quite believe it’s been nearly 6 months already! 💐

Here are just a few snippets from my camera roll so far. It’s been amazing to see how much has happened in such a short space of time, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has placed an order, shared my work or supported me along the way.

I’ve met so many lovely customers, and sometimes I still have to pinch myself that this is my life! 🥹 It’s definitely been a rollercoaster, with its ups and downs, but even on the challenging days, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I just hope I never have to get off this ride! 🤍

Hello, my old friend… ☕️ 💻

Gosh, I haven’t sat in my office in my comfys for months! 😂 It feels good to slow down for a moment and catch my breath.

With it being half term, I’m hoping to make the most of these slightly quieter hours to catch up on all the admin, get organised and start planning for the festive season ahead 🎄✨

There’s always so much happening behind the scenes, and although I’d much rather be playing with flowers, a little time spent planning now makes all the difference later on! 🌸

So, comfy clothes on, a cuppa in hand, and let’s see how much I can tick off the list… 🤍

Oh and how could I forget, sitting down for more than two seconds also means I have a guest...swipe ⬅️ 😺

Some flowers carry a little extra meaning 🤍

Creating this funeral wreath was particularly special for a wonderful client who wanted to honour her dear friend in the most personal way.

She shared two beautiful inspiration photographs with me, including a photograph of her friend’s bridal bouquet, and asked me to capture the essence of those flowers in a tribute that felt meaningful, personal and full of love.

The stars of the show had to be the exquisite David Austin ‘Constance’ roses 🌸

But what made this commission even more special was hearing how much it meant to my client. Receiving such lovely feedback from her was wonderful in itself, but when a friend also took the time to call me personally today to say thank you, it truly touched me.

It’s a gentle reminder of why I love what I do. Flowers have such a beautiful way of expressing the things that words sometimes cannot - love, friendship, gratitude and remembrance.

Thank you to my lovely client for trusting me with something so meaningful 🤍

Flowers for dog-loving homes 🐾

This hand-tied bouquet was made with a little extra thought for a customer with a four-legged friend at home, using flowers generally considered non-toxic to dogs.

⚠️ A little reminder: even dog-friendly flowers can cause an upset stomach if eaten in large quantities, so it’s always best to keep bouquets out of curious reach.

Because having flowers at home and keeping our furry friends safe should go hand in hand 🌿

After a drizzly start, a little sunshine came through the waiting room window and caught this weeks flowers at the crematorium.

Pinks and greens this week, looking lovely and fresh in the morning light. A small detail, but one that makes a difference to the space 🩷💚🌿

A little burst of birthday sunshine! 💐🎂

A customer asked for a bouquet made especially for someone who absolutely loves bright colours, so we went all out with a gorgeous mix of vibrant blooms! 💚🧡💗

And with sunshine like this morning’s, who needs a filter? ☀️😍 The colours speak for themselves!
