Evenings are getting darker. Worth a quick check on your door locks.

1. Lift the handle and turn the key. Does it lock smoothly, or do you have to lean on the door?
2. Push the closed door. Any movement means the locking points aren't engaging properly.
3. Look at the hinges. Gaps at the top corner on the handle side usually mean the door has dropped.

If any of these sound familiar, it's worth getting it looked at before winter.
