It's been a while since I posted having caught the annual "loosing my mojo" for sewing.

Anyway.. yesterday my sister gave her best friend and husband a quilt and cushion I made as a gift for their GORGEOUS baby boy. This was so much fun to make and I love how all the colours tie in so well with the safari theme. I'm so thrilled they loved it just as much as I enjoyed making it ❤️

Well hump month is over and I've been rather busy making these beauties!

I struggled making both these bags first time round, it pushed me in so many ways out of my comfort zone but I learned a lot, learnt new techniques and now I love making them.

Two laptop bags and a handbag. I loved how they came out and I loved making bags for men this time around.

Who doesn't love a bespoke bag no one else will have ❤️

I dont call myself a quilter, my Mum is a very talented and inspirational quilter but it has always scared me and I dont know why.. I can make complicated bags using challenging fabrics but quilting uses a completely different set of skills. However, this is my second baby quilt in recent weeks and I adore it! I mean who doesn't love enchanted forests with unicorns and swans?? 🦢🦄 I may just make a quilter yet! A commission for a dear friend 🩷
