Two bay windows refurbished, keeping the existing frames, we installed new hardwood casements double glazed with match lead patterns. The customer wanted to keep the look of these lovely period windows but improve the thermal efficiency of the property. Now double glazed and fully draught proofed these casement windows have kept their charm and character whist retaining heat loss.

Some of these existing casement windows were in a sorry state. Some of the existing frames were salvageable, some were too far gone. Keeping to the guild lines of the listed building consent, these like for like new casements and complete windows have completely transformed this period property. Now all double glazed with heritage slim-lite double glazing and finished with traditional glazing putty, these windows will look timeless for years to come.

The Joiner excelled himself with these solid glazing bars copying the existing sash design. All individually glazed with heritage slim-lite double glazing from . Spring is finally here and we even seen the sun this week, hopefully no more wet weather 🤞🏻… To say the timber work on these windows was a little rotten would be an understatement. Replacing all the rotten timber work with new hardwood sections these windows have been brought back to life. All fully draught proofed and operational these windows will last for many years.

It was a pleasure to be asked to restore all the windows and doors on the historical building. Restoring as much as we possibly could keeping as many of the original features as possible. Hopefully this village Hall can be accommodating and fit for purpose and I’m sure with the fantastic committee behind it, it will be brought back to life for many years to come
