Two years ago today. Not a bad staircase to work on 👌

A fully templated and bordered sisal runner, fitted across every flight and landing. Plenty of awkward angles and absolutely nowhere for a mistake to hide — but the finished result suited the place perfectly.

A timeless striped wool runner paired with antique brass stair rods, fitted to complement the original timber staircase rather than hide it.

Every landing was templated individually to keep the stripes running true and the finish as clean as possible.

It’s always satisfying when a runner looks like it’s belongs in the house.

A busy week to say the least 😅

8 stair runners and I lost count of landings all with more mitres than I can count…

From clean modern herringbone runners with black borders, through to full traditional bordered installations in period properties — every single one templated, taped and fitted with care.

These jobs look simple when finished, but the planning behind winding stairs, awkward turns and detailed border work is where the real challenge is 👌🏻

Tired… but proud of this week’s work 💪🏻

A tough one finished today for 💪🏻

Full stair and landing installation with custom taped borders throughout an old property with plenty of awkward angles, winding stairs and detailed mitres to work around.

These are the sort of jobs that take serious planning before the fitting even begins 😅
