✨️HAPPY NEW YEAR✨️
A belated Happy New Year to you all. 🥳🍾🎉
We brought in the new year with a bracing (and bitter cold) walk along a beautiful Wirral beach and a trip to Chester (just look at that moon rising over Chester Castle 🌑).
I've not posted for months as I've had hardly any time to make recently. I find making really therapeutic, so my stress levels go through the roof when I don't manage to get any downtime to craft and zone out for a while.
2025 started with me being made redundant from my museum job only two months into maternity leave and then months of uncertainty until in the autumn I very happily secured a brilliant heritage role working with a wonderful team of people. 😊
The year also saw me trying to make a go of Craggle Rock (again) but with very little time for making and creating content, it didn't work out. Promoting on Instagram feels like a full time job in itself and I just about manage to make stuff, let alone then create a Reel about it, too. 🫠 So, it looks like I'm back to making for fun, friends and loved ones. I'll still aim to post on here as the creative side of Instagram is a welcome and cosy escape from the madness (and unkindness) of the 'real' world.
Wishing you all a healthy and happy 2026. ✨️
