We offer a wide variety of window decoration from curtains to plantation shutters. Quotations are provided free of charge along with our home selection service. It is with deep sadness and regret, that we have to announce the difficult decision we have made, which is for our family business PH Blinds & Curtains Ltd to cease trading, with immediate effect.

After 43 years of trading, and supplying our local area both domestic and commercial with your window dressings, it is time for us to close the shutters for good.

Like many small businesses we have had our struggles, but the past 6 months we have struggled to survive with the economic climate and our time has sadly come to an end

This has not been an easy decision, It is no secret that retail has been hit hard over the past few years, especially with the cost of living crisis, but with rising costs, and more being announced, and the ever increasing online competitors it is no longer financially viable to continue trading.

Without our loyal customers over the years we wouldn't have made it this far, so thank you so much, its been a pleasure to help dress your homes.

Many thanks to our fantastic team, years of dedication to the business and the family, thankyou for helping and supporting us we couldn't have got through it without you, and we are extremely saddened to see you all go

On Armed Forces Day, we recognize the dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of those who protect our nation and uphold our freedoms.

To all servicemen thank you for your service. Your courage and resilience inspire us, and your efforts ensure the safety and security of our country. We owe you a debt of gratitude that can never be fully repaid.

Let us also remember the families and loved ones of our service members, whose support and sacrifice are essential to the strength of our military. Your enduring strength and dedication do not go unnoticed.

We salute you, we honor you, and we stand united in our appreciation for all that you do. Happy Armed Forces Day!

Well folks, it’s been a tad warm over these parts the past few days, which is why we took the necessary action to close our workshop and let our staff go home for the afternoon.

Can you imagine working in this heat surrounded by glass?! Most household windows/glass does not have the protective barriers that some do, and also creates a ‘greenhouse’ affect, not pleasant and for prolonged periods can have an adverse effect on a persons health.

Please as a precaution, especially through summer, if you are expecting a visit from a member of our team, we kindly ask that you

- Open windows/doors to allow better ventilation

- Provide shade/ fan.. close blinds and curtains where possible especially if you are expecting a fitting

- Please provide drinks.. an accessible tap to allow access to water would suffice

- Be polite and courteous, timings easily slip as we take extra factors into consideration

- Also it would be greatly appreciated if a toilet is accessible for use, our staff need to stay hydrated, but this has its own problems 🤣

You would be surprised at some of the stories our team come back with simply because people don’t like workman using the toilet, or we should provide our own drinks (we do!) and the abuse because a team member is later than expected… we’re only human!

Be kind, be nice, be safe and help others to do the same 🥰

We hope you have all enjoyed this weather, but if you are not quite prepared, by all means give us a call and we can help you with your window shading, and patio awnings… oh and do you know we do fly screens?! The dreaded flying ants are out in force 🐜

Fifty one organisations from across the North West of England have been awarded Silver under the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme for their support to Defence and the wider Armed Forces community.

The Employer Recognition Scheme was launched to reward employers who support Defence People objectives and encourage others to do the same. This includes employing serving and former members of the Armed Forces community, and demonstrating flexibility towards training and mobilisation commitments for Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers.

Congratulations to all the team at PH on winning our Silver award!! It is a great achievement, and an award we should all be very proud of.

Thankyou to all of our customers and clients, past and present for your ongoing support and loyalty.

We have an abundance of events and celebrations coming up with the Platinum Jubilee and Armed Forces day, keep a look out for our team out in the community.
