British cut flowers and beginner friendly seeds 💐Polytunnel rebuild, small farm stories 🐑 Growing slow and sharing the journey! 👭🏻✨

It’s either wellies, trainers or slippers round here 🤣

Dogs have chewed every single pair of slippers I’ve got, even my summer sliders 🙄

So socks and broken sandals it is 😂

Had a little friend at the farm today 🐦❤️

As I worked my way from one end of the farm to the other, this little robin followed me backwards and forwards, keeping an eye on my progress…or was keeping his eye out for his tea 🪱🪱🤣

Couldn’t waste such a beautiful evening, so decided on one last job before it got dark!

Tonight’s mission… continue to cover the weeds with grass cuttings. 🌱

There seems to be no glamorous side of flower farming, so that’s a relief 🤣

Anyone else incapable of just sitting and enjoying a nice evening? 🤣

Just trying to do a bit of research for the flower farm…

45 minutes later I’m growing weird flowers, buying a donkey and I’ve forgotten what I came on Instagram for 🤣

Anyone else’s brain work like this? 😂 #50

It’s definitely been a week 🤦🏻‍♀️ Had some spare time this morning so I was finally able to get outside to do some more prep for next year.
It’s good to know the dogs are excited as me to get this project properly underway. Hopefully their enthusiasm keeps us going once the cold spells arrive.
Dog jumpers are ordered, contemplating the mini wellies 🤣

🌸 Well, I’ve finally got round to getting the Springbank Grow Club website up and running!

It’s taken me a while, but it’s another job ticked off the list 🤣

There’s not much available to buy at the moment as we’re coming to the end of the growing season, but you can have a look at what we’ve been growing and what we’re all about.

There’s lots going on behind the scenes getting ready for 2027, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what next year brings.

I’ve also added a waitlist to the website, so if you’re interested in buying flowers from us next year, please pop your name down! It’ll give me an idea of who’s interested and help us go into 2027 full guns blazing! 🌸💪

Anyway, have a nosey around and let me know what you think!

And if you fancy sharing it, that would be lovely.

The wind at Springbank Grow Club is proving a bit too strong to be wrestling with enormous sheets of cardboard today! 💨🤣

So instead of getting on with our no-dig beds, I’m sat here manifesting a little help…

Not asking for much, just three hardworking gardeners who look something like this! 👀🤣🌸

A girl can dream, can’t she? 😂

We’ve blown a hole in the polytunnel 🤣💨

Not quite what we had planned!

Come on then, what’s this storm managed to wreck, blow over or send flying at yours? 😂 We can’t be the only ones!
