After an amazing 5 years as Wild The Plant Shop, we have made the difficult decision to close the business. We would like to thank everyone who has dropped by our cute little shop over the last few years, whether it be to buy a new plant, ask for advice or just to drop in for a chat.

While the decision was difficult, it’s right for us. As a family, our personal circumstances are changing and this feels like the right time to bring Wild to a close, not to mention these are difficult times for any business.

Our last day of trading will be Saturday 30th November, and most stock will be reduced from tomorrow onwards so we can clear the shop. We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of our customers, suppliers and all our friends and family who have helped us along the way.

Massive thank you again for helping us achieve our dream and keep it going for as long as we did, we look forward to seeing you all in the run up to our closure.

For those who like a splash of colour, the Hypoestes aka The Polka Dot Plant is perfect 😍 Keep them in bright, indirect light to keep the colour vibrant. They like their soil be be constantly moist but never soggy. If the soil dries out too much they will begin to wilt!

Open 10-4 today and here's some terrarium tips for the winter months!

TERRARIUM CARE:
🌱 Place your terrarium on a windowsill or somewhere with bright light.
🌱 Use a mister to water your open terrarium.
🌱 Closed terrariums do not need watering as they will create their own eco-system but you will need to open the lid for an hour, once a week to provide some ventilation.
🌱 Trim any plants that begin to touch the glass.

Foliage Friday! String of Turtles are perfect if you want to break away from the classic foliage feel. Here are a few tips to care for yours:

🐢 Require bright indirect light
🐢 Avoid direct light
🐢 Very high humidity, so like most plants, they will love it in your bathroom
🐢 Not too dry, not too wet
