All in all a humble yet positive start! I’m probably going to have to tweak my ad as I’d like a better conversion rate. But really I also need to make sure there’s plenty of stock because there’s no point getting the ad running well and then I run out of stock (learnt my lesson with that one). I can’t lie that sharing this journey is quite scary because I cannot predict how things are going to go and I may make a total fool of myself, like more than I have already, but it is what it is 🤡

Okay so where has this week gone?! And why has sleep deprivation made it go quicker 😅 I’ve got 11 kits to finish off for my next shipment and also another set of name blocks to go out. Attempting to get this done by Saturday 🤞

I also need to order more cotton for my DIY Coaster kits and my Christmas kits but I can’t lie, I’m sort of putting it off until I’ve at least hit my Amazon sales target 😬

We are now on day 5 of Amazon, the ads are slowly but surely starting to delivery, and between writing this and getting the handmade orders out I’m currently packing up some more DIY Plant Hanger Kits to send off to Amazon HQ 😬 I still have a ton of pumpkins I want to sew, take pictures of and ideally you know, sell - but also back to school chaos has hit and I’m losing my mind just a teeny tiny bit 🙂‍↕️ if you’re following along for the journey then 👋 it might be a bit insightful to you fellow entrepreneurs aiming for the stars but it also might end up being a guide on what not to do, helpful either way 🤣🙌

How it’s going! Just like with Google, Amazon ads always take a little while to gain momentum. Data will be my best friend! It’s a bit of a waiting game (not so good at this) so I’ll be working on my handmade orders as well plus I still need to take some new product pics AND get some new kit listings done on Amazon

So this is actually the scariest bit for me, putting myself out there and letting you all know how long it takes me to sell the shipment Amazon have finally received! There are 40 kits in this batch and I’m currently prepping another 40 to go. After that I’ll be listing some new kits on Amazon and then sending a load more that’s the plan anyway - but I also don’t have an unlimited supply of money so we shall see 😬 I am like the tiniest little fish in the ocean of Amazon and know being seen on there is one of the biggest challenges! Follow along for what hopefully is not a total car crash of a challenge 💁‍♀️

Such a gorgeous name sent out today in the Warm Neutrals colours scheme 🤍 I love how they came out and chuffed with my quick pic too 📸

In other news, my Amazon shipment has finally been ‘recieved’ which means I now need to get my butt in gear and take some more product pics, optimise my listings, get the next shipment sent out and sort a new Amazon ad out 😅 (send caffeine pls 🙏)

All in all, a rather productive day. It’s a neverending list of just STUFF to sort and organise. On the plus side UPS being slow is giving me more time to tweak my Amazon listings (eye twitching my way through those silver linings) it also seems like orders across other platforms have picked up as the weather has turned to well, 💩- so I’m v grateful for that 🙏 my brand new shiny website is itching to be published too, I’m so excited for this one and really need to shout out more about it but maybe on the next post 😅
