Each print tells a story of resilience & seasonal magic ✨ Traditional craft, modern style. I'm Pamela, a Norfolk-based printmaker specialising in intimate botanical portraits created through traditional linocut techniques. I work from my countryside studio creating bold, contemporary interpretations of humble blooms like daisies, poppies, and tulips. Rather than garden scenes, I practice botanical

portraiture - treating each flower as a complete portrait subject, following its natural structure from stem to bloom. My approach focuses on the individual character and story of each bloom. I celebrate the extraordinary beauty found in ordinary countryside moments 🌸 Available: Original prints, greeting cards, and commissioned botanical portraits.

Peony 🌸 Despite the short flowering time, it’s still a firm favourite. I love these big, bold-yet-delicate blooms.

Sharing a sped-up (incase that wasn’t obvious!) video of my process, after transferring my original drawing to linocut with tracing paper, I like to use permanent marker to draw over the lines before carving.

Sometimes a project just waits for the right moment to bloom 🌸

I transferred this dahlia design to the lino block and started carving it a while ago, but it’s been waiting for its moment in the sun.

This weekend, seeing the magnificent, dahlias in full bloom at the National Trust gardens was the perfect reminder of why I fell in love with this flower in the first place (swipe for a dose of garden magic!) It gave me the perfect push to finish carving those last, delicate details.

It really wouldn’t be the height of summer without sweet peas, would it? 🌸 I’ve been out in the garden constantly picking stems to encourage fresh new blooms, which means the house is currently filled with little posies and that unmistakable, sweet scent. Pure nostalgia 💖

There’s a particular kind of magic in the wallflower. Often tucked into the crevices of old stone walls or lining a cottage path, they are the quiet over-achievers of the British garden.

Part of my British Garden Flower collection, this wallflower/Erysimum design is an ode to the golden hour in a Norfolk garden. It captures that transition from afternoon to dusk when oranges, deep corals, and buttery yellows seem to glow against mossy greens. It feels both optimistic and grounded.

The garden is calling and I’ve brought my sketchbook outside to listen. ☀️🌱 There’s something restorative about late April; the days are finally stretching out, and each afternoon grows sunnier and warmer.

I’m currently sitting in the garden, soaking up the inspiration for my next designs, but I wanted to share a closer look at two of my recent favourites from the British Garden Flowers Collection.

Originally carved by hand, these tulips are a celebration of that classic cottage garden romance.
