A lovely relaxing afternoon at The Craftery getting creative with some familiar faces 😀 The ladies were super busy printing fabric beach bags and Khadi paper postcards and little purses, as well as some kitchen cloths and a fabric zip bag using my sea themed blocks 🦀

I even had time to do a little printing myself!

I was delighted to be asked back to run a second crafty party for this creative child and her friends 😀 The children painted ceramic plates and created colourful Dreamcatchers as well as decorating their fabric party bags to take home. Awesome crafting everyone! 👍🤩

So here it is! Our biggest ever summer holiday children's workshop programme.

Full details of the crafts for each workshop are available on our FB Events page.

Unless otherwise stated, all workshops are open to children aged 4 and over with an adult needing to stay with children aged 6 and under. Messy clothes advised, as is early booking, as tickets are already selling for many workshops.

*New for summer 2026*
- Family sea glass and pebble workshop at Wells Maltings (aged 8 and over)
- Wood Block Printing day at The Walled Garden (ages 8 to 16)
- Slime making in the Castle Quarter raising funds for Get Me Out the Four Walls, a Norfolk charity supporting parents mental health.

🐚 Just look at these beautiful sea glass and pebble pictures created at our Big C workshop yesterday! I love how given the same raw materials, every picture turns out so differently but equally as fabulous 🤩

I’m running this workshop again at Wells Maltings on Tuesday August 4th open to families with children aged 8 and older, so please come along if you would like to create your own special picture 🌊

More block printing at Trowse Primary School yesterday. This time it was Year 4 that showed their creative flair by experimenting with colours and designs to print some awesome cards and tote bags 🤩

🐳 A magical marine inspired wood block printing workshop yesterday at Harrods of Hingham Arts and Crafts CIC with some lovely ladies creating fabulous fabric beach bags and purses as well as some gift labels 🐠

🦀 If you would like to print your own beach bag I have a few spaces left at these two workshops where you will use the same blocks. Beginners welcome to our small friendly classes. Links in comments below:

⭐️ Didn’t they do well! ⭐️

I spent Tuesday at Trowse Primary School working with Year 3 to show them how to print greetings cards and fabric tote bags using traditional Indian Fair trade wood blocks. The photos show some of their creations - awesome designs everyone! 👏👍🤩

I’ll be back next Tuesday to get creative with Year 4 and I can’t wait to see how they use the blocks to print their own bespoke designs.

🌸 It was a great privilege to be asked to run a baby shower wood block printing workshop yesterday for a mum to be and her family and friends 🐥

The ladies were all new to block printing and I was very impressed with the beautiful baby muslins, bags and baby grows they created- fab colour creations everyone! Your Afternoon Tea provided by The Walled Garden Shop at Plumstead was very well deserved! 👏

🪐 We were seeing stars yesterday afternoon at The Walled Garden with lots of fabulous creative out of this world fun! 💫

The children experimented with marbling inks to create their own colourful planets and used foam clay to create bright aliens including some baby ones! 👾

It was great to get creative with everyone again and I’m looking forward to more crafting fun with you in the summer holidays 😀
