Well even with fresh bed linen on the bed, and the fan on, hubby and I were tossing and turning most of the night 🥵Even harder for him as he's having to be careful with his wrist after his surgery, getting his right arm comfy, while in a bandage, dressing and stitches isn't easy at the moment 🥺
Had my cup of tea and going to make a nice coffee and sit in the garden while its cool enough to enjoy lol.
Have a fabulous weekend and stay safe out there in the heat ☀️😎 🍨🍦

How have you all coped today in the heatwave? I know some of you will have nicer, cooler, more enjoyable temperatures (go on make me jealous)
No creating today, went into the workshop with all good intentions to make a lemon themed wreath, I got as far as attaching a sign to a wreath base, picking out flowers, foliage and the lemons and that was that. It was like a sauna and I started to feel pretty unwell🥵 So decided to retreat to the sofa in front of my fan 🤣Currently 28° in our garden and 27° indoors at 7pm 😵‍💫

🐝🐞Earlier this week I made a wreath for one of my lovely customers, Kim. She gave me the brief, bees and ladybirds, something bright. She didn't want me to send her photos and trusted me to create her what she wanted plus she wanted a big surprise when her happy mail was delivered 🥰
Well today he arrived and shes over the moon and I can now show you all 🥰
Here he is in all his glory, Mr Bee,surrounded by ladybirds, roses, sunflowers and poppys....

🎅Ho Ho Ho🎅
First Santa of the year made but this one I did differently with a velvet stretch fabric, have to say it was tough on my poor little fingers. Sewing the thick fabric was a lot harder. But he turned out well , hope you all agree 😊Shall get him on a wreath in the next couple of weeks, as may do a few "Christmas in July" wreaths 🎅
Also in the process of making things for a blush pink, cream and burgandy autumn wreath with gold accents 😍I have cut out the velvet fabric for toadstools which I shall be hand sewing and I've made a huge pumpkin in blush and cream velvet.
