Hab-a-go If you'd like yarn "put by", so you only buy what you need as you need it, thats fine. (One month hold, or updated).

Opened in 2001, Hab-a-go is a little yarn & craft store on the outskirts of Norwich City....
The shop is very well stocked with well-known, reliable brands of yarn & haberdashery items. This is so you can make sure you've got enough of your chosen yarn to finish your project. With our lovely selection of handmade babies garments, we are also very happy to make bespoke items to your requirements

for adults or children. We also complete knitted items already started, and we provide a "sewing-up" service for knitted items started by you. (Sewing-up isn't everyone's favourite part of completing an item!οΏ½). Always on hand with help or advice, we welcome everyone at any time, whether you're browsing or planning to buy. We're not in a busy shopping centre, or in the middle of a bustling town or city but we do have car parking, and a great little parade of other shops & units nearby, including a butchers, newsagents, fresh fruit & veg, party shop, hairdressers, glass & carpet suppliers. Come and visit Hab-a-go for a great out-of -town experience..... you'll be pleasantly surprised at just how competitive we are!

In case you didn't already know, and going by the enquiries I'm still getting regarding yarn, sewing repairs etc., I'm afraid I've recently retired, so "Hab-a-go" is no longer!
I am always happy to answer any messages if I can, but as a business, "Hab-a-go" is closed permanently.

A little reminder that Hab-a-go will be closed on Good Friday & Easter Monday.

(Monday's so I can recover the hour I'll lose Sunday! πŸ˜…. Joke!!! Sort of...).

So, if you need/want/fancy some yarn over the Easter long weekend, tomorrow(Thursday) 9am~4pm, or Saturday, 10am~3pm is the time to pop into the shop.
(Don't forget! We have haberdashery, donated jigsaws & books & other items too).

Our Story

Opened in 2001, the shop has seen quite a few changes to date. Our stock has grown, along with our customers. But its not just about selling. Our motto is to always put customers first, so if we haven’t got what you need, we'll do everything we can to get it for you. We also provide a service to finish (or make) knitwear, which has proved very popular. A complete garment made from scratch, or finishing those bits you don’t enjoy doing, whether it’s sewing up or knitting button bands & collars... anything can be expertly finished for you. Our baby knitwear dept is extremely busy.... Our lovely crocheted shawls are available in almost any colour, as are the children's jackets/jumpers/hats etc. There is a selection made up to see, or you can choose a pattern and have that made up. It really is worth paying a visit. We hope you'll leave with a smile, content that the best customer service is provided, whether it’s a purchase or a service.
