Norfolk's premier store for hand knitting yarns, felting and spinning equipment. Owned and run by Rebecca Bone with the help of her family, providing an unique collection of hand knitting yarns, Ashford spinning equipment, wool, silk fibres, and now fabrics and sewing threads. We regularly run Knitting, Crocheting and Spinning courses, for all abilities.

We’re always being asked if we sell our samples. And the answer is usually “no”! But…. We’re having a tidy up. All our samples from out of print pattern books or discontinued yarns, are now for sale. Your chance to save hours of work by buying one off hand knitted garments made from natural fibres including wool, cotton and silk. Do pay us a visit before they get snapped up.

New goodies for Summer knitting in stock! We always stock ‘s latest - but they go fast so be quick! Summer 25 magazines are all in, although stocks of the magazine vanished within hours and are now on re order (let us know if you want one saved). We are stocking the lush 100% organic worsted weight cotton from - a beautiful colour palette for anyone’s Summer stash!

We’ve been doing a lot of lace knitting here in the shop. Two finished Amillë‘s by Emily Ross. Pattern available on Ravelry, gleem lace from available here or a selection of silky lace yarns from and plus beads! Ideal for Summer weddings, nights out or just to feel supremely pretty and clever!

We’ve decided Spring is here, and we’re taking no notice of the cold weather blip the forecasters say is heading our way. Again. On the needles Becky has Siena by and Boo has started her 3rd Love Note from . We’ve both gone for Silky Wool from Elizabeth Lavold and boy did we have a hard time picking from the tempting colour range. Stop by to get your knitting started in time to wear the lighter weights we’re all going to start wanting! And if quilting is your thing, our range of beautiful fabrics will tempt you into starting the next quilt!
