Last thursday we had the pleasure of attending New Blades at the Truman Brewery.

The calibre of work was absolutely incredible and we spent hours captivated by everyone's creations and craftsmanship. From screen accurate props and models to incredibly unique artistic creations, we were blown away by the level of detail and ex*****on from these students.

A huge congratulations to all the students and universities that took part in the show: The Northern School of Art, Northbrook College, University of Hertfordshire, Arts University Bournemouth and Coleg y Cymoedd,
- the creativity in the room was off the charts!

Thank you 4D modelshop for making a really wonderful show and a brilliant opportunity for these young creatives to be celebrated.

We wish we could share the whole exhibition with you but we got so caught up in the excitement of the moment we only took a few photos of the day. Next year, head down and check it out for yourselves, you won't regret it!

Cineco are a London based set building and scenic construction company creating bespoke sets for film, TV, commercial and fashion projects across the UK.

From woodwork and metalwork to custom cars and specialist painting, they represent exactly the kind of craft and standard we love to see in this industry.

A proud moment for us last week.

The Poly-Props Award was presented at the University of Greater Manchester, recognising a student whose work in scenic and prop making genuinely impressed us.

Supporting education in this industry matters to us. The people picking up a brush, a heat gun or a foam knife today are the makers, designers and scenic artists shaping the next decade of theatre, film and TV. Backing them properly is the least we can do.

Congratulations to the winner, and thank you to the University of Greater Manchester for letting us be part of it.

We had the privilege of visiting the Northern School of Art to deliver a Poly-Props workshop and spend time with some incredibly talented students.

For us, it's never just about the materials we make or supply. It's about the people who use them. The artists, makers, designers, fabricators, prop builders, scenic painters, model makers, and creative thinkers who bring ideas to life.

The creative community has given us so much over the years, and we're passionate about giving back through workshops, education, advice, and supporting the next generation of creators.

Seeing the passion, imagination, and talent on display reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

A huge thank you to the staff and students for making us feel so welcome. We can't wait to see what you create next.

We're working on a Chrome paint and we're looking for collaborators.

Brush it on, airbrush it on, heck, we'll even try and stick it in an aerosol.

No special primers used. No special surfaces prep.
We just threw it on and enjoyed the reflection!
