My most requested flower, but peonies are already slowing down and we are only halfway through June - they have such a short season. These were Madam Claude Tain, from Smith & Munson in Lincolnshire, and they were just 👌.

and all those delicate meadowy beauties: corncockles, ammi, phlox, briza grass, roses, early scabious, silene. And of course sweet peas - my go-to for every late spring and summer wedding. Ruffly deliciousness.

three good things about today:

• quite a lot of my seeds have sprouted
• ranunculus is back in season
• i’m up to level 14 on Duolingo Spanish

an Easter weekend of sunshine + showers; of work + family; and chocolate 🐰. Oh and finally getting round to planting seeds for the summer.

This year I’m doing phlox, cosmos, snapdragons, zinnia, strawflower, scabious and corncockles.

All tucked up in their greenhouse baby beds 🤍.
