All pieces will be available on Etsy for delivery within the UK.

Here it is. After the long wait for it to dry I have finished cleaning it up. I am really pleased with how the hand has turned out. It's so worth experimenting with any art form. Only then can you truly find your own path and carve your style.

Peeling away the clay to reveal the piece you have been working on.
Up until this point your working has all be in mirror image and inverse layering. Experience and visualisation tells you what it should look like. But this is the point where you learn the degree of detail the clay has been able to capture. The negative image in the clay is quite beautiful as its laid beside the cast after the reveal. Standing testament to the individual and one off nature of each cast. Luckily the clay can be recycled. And the cast. Well that preserves the snapshot forever. ❤️

Spending some time finishing off this big hand and bouquet cast now its dry.

Drying on these big casts can take several months, only then can you see the final colours and contrasts of the clay. This allows for the fine cleaning, sanding and finishing.
