This commission piece was really lovely to paint, it is a really special place for the customer and they wanted something to capture the beauty of all the surroundings.

They sent me a few pictures including the yoga tree, a wheelbarrow full of apples, the yurt building and the wooden toilet 😁. I sketched out a few different layouts working with the customer till we decided on this final layout.

Today’s mini scene commission piece is this festival scene. The customer loved my Glastonbury piece and asked if I could create one for a festival in Ireland. If I remember correctly it was for her brother whose band played there and he proposed to his fiancé in front of one of the stages 🥰.
It’s such an honour creating such personal pieces for people.
This is quite a long piece but I can also just include one or two things to suit your budget.

I’m going to share this week some really lovely different commissions I’ve had lately. This was done late last year (I always like to make sure the date is way gone so it doesn’t ruin the surprise) , it was for someone who was at Cambridge university and wanted to include a few buildings they loved and the punting boats.

I love creating personal miniature scenes. I get a lot of messages like ‘I’ve had an idea but don’t know what it would look like…’ so they give me buildings etc and I do a sketch. Each one is very different so I would give you a quote once you let me know what you’d like including.

This adorable old dog is painted in watercolour on size A5. It’s not my usual miniature size so it’s nice to get bit more detail when it’s slightly bigger painting.
I took photos of the progress while I was painting so thought this would be interesting to see how I work (or maybe not 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣).

New prints 🤗🚲
I painted this vintage Raleigh Chopper for the Royal Society of Miniature Artists Annual exhibition I was fortunate to be part of last November.
The painting is roughly around 1inch in size. The prints are printed exactly the same size as my original and the quality is incredible. They are printed on A5 size paper so can be cut down to fit as small as 3x3inch frame.

A reintroduction…

2026 mini painting a day so far. Excited to see what weird and boring things I’ll be painting this year . And some images of the 2025s piece.

Rules are I only take maximum 10 mins to paint that day. I Cannot repeat myself through the year.
It can be something I did, ate, listened to, watched, or a big event that happened.
They are roughly around 2-3 cms in size.

I’ll be sharing my progress through the year ☺️

Realised I never shared this to my fb page from Dec 31st. Finished my 365 mini painting a day in 2025. I’ll share some images soon. It was so making it and I love it so much that I’ve already started 2026.

If you are after a last minute present but don’t know what to buy I am now selling gift vouchers for a miniature watercolour painting by myself 😊.
It can be a favourite photo, place or pet portrait. Each painting is roughly 2-3 inches painted on A6 size paper.

Each voucher has a unique code which the recipient quotes when redeeming it.
I will send out a physical voucher but also happy to email one if you need it by Christmas which you can print or email.

I am local artist who sells prints of my miniature local scenes. I only have a few left of each one before I reorder after Christmas.
I’ve just put them up on my page, and also listed some original Nottingham watercolour painting I have.

I’m also currently exhibiting at Attenborough Nature Reserve throughout December where there are lots of wildlife/bird originals and prints for sale.

My last postage day is Friday 19th for any orders that need posting.
