Finished this simplicity S8880 today, and completed it with a ‘me made’ badge from Pink Coat Club.

I usually rush through sewing projects and end up not wearing the finished product as a result. So at the minute I am trying to take my time and take more care with my projects.

For this top I have french seams on the side seams, overlocked the sleeves and hems, and all of the raw edges in the top half are encased in the lining.

Super proud of this top, and I know I’ll get a lot of wear from it.

Spent the evening making the jazziest bag possible! I did get to try a new skill of using bias binding to encase the raw edges of the inside of the bag, so it should wear better over time. I also finally remembered to use some of my ribbon as a tag!
