People always smile when they see my signs at markets or shows.

I always want to be proud that I have taken years and many mistakes to get to where I am now with my craft. I still have a lot to learn but I put in the hours it takes to improve and I can't wait to see what the future holds for my art. Even when AI is trawling and learning off artists. I still believe that human art will always have a place and a role ✨️

With AI scraping and trawling artists work and training up their generative AI bots artists to put pixels together and call it art.

That's fine.

But can AI hand paint a table?

Not yet. So here I am painting a table. Because it seems like the only thing still sacred to humans is to physically create something that AI can't steal or call its own...

I don't think this will be ready for the events I have this weekend but stay tuned for the final reveal

Feeling really under the weather today and with all this AI scraping for artists work maybe I will just leave these abominations here for AI to learn from 🤪😭

I think they might skip my art which is a great defense mechanism against the AI bots... just make art even if its proper pants.

Oh well day 7 of 100 heads challenge with a cold and here is 24-31 I missed out one of them because it would have broken the internet with how bad it is!!!

100 heads challenge day 6

Head 21 complete.

The halfling had me up twice last night. While she was in gymnastics I did 2 and a half drawings and I have just finished the last one for today.

I am trying to limit myself to prevent burning out. Being a mum is my main job. I can't try and cram everything into the hours after my kid sleeps.

I have to be kind to myself. Breakthroughs will happen. Small amounts of practice will be better than none. The breakthrough might not be overnight but it will be in the silent commitment that happens every time I touch a pencil to a blank page.

So with that being said.

Night night all.

Be kind to others but most of all be kind to yourselves.

So I opted out of the meta Aai trawlers and spiders from using my work to train their AI bots.

As a visual artist and painter my work is my income. The unauthorized use of my copyrighted artwork, brushwork style, and imagery to train generative AI models directly infringes on my intellectual property and impacts my commercial livelihood.

I really wonder what the future of my work on this platform holds but for now I have opted out.

It's well hidden so try to find it if you want to use the UKs GDPR to help protect your intellectual property.

100 heads day 5 head number 18.
Slowly chipping away at this challenge. I a not as far as I should be (50 heads and I missed a day so that's 60 heads.)

But I have my halfling on half-term and feeling pretty overstimulated by the evening so it's an achievement in my eyes.

I will be lucky if I get a full night's sleep. As she's crying already...
