This bouquet was made using faux flowers, as the bride wanted something she could keep forever and display in her home. It was an honour to create something so personal for her.

Choosing the individual stems that would eventually become the bouquet was a real joy. I loved seeing how each element came together to create the finished piece.

Alongside the bridal bouquet, I also created the bridesmaid flower hoops, the groom and groomsmen's buttonholes, and the other floral details for the day.

It was such an interesting experience for me at the time, giving me a real insight into the process of creating wedding flowers — and making me want to do much more of it.

To think that this is where I started.

Creating the flowers for this stunning wedding was a massive stepping stone for me in my floral career, and looking back at it now, it's amazing to see how much I've done and how much I've grown since.

This was the kind of opportunity that made me want to keep pushing forward, and I've only looked forward since.

The simply stunning ivory-white rose bouquet was decorated with Gypsphila and eucalyptus and finished with a white ribbon.

The first of this year's autumn wreaths.

I wanted this one to feel abundant and full of autumn colour, while still allowing the individual elements to be appreciated.

Rich reds, warm oranges, soft pinks and plenty of greenery, with lots of texture from the different foliage and dried elements.

This one has already found its home, but I'll be sharing the others as they're made.

Autumn is just around the corner and the preparations are under way.

Over the next few weeks I will be making a collection of wreaths, each one slightly different from the next. I'll be working with a mix of rich yellows, oranges, reds and pinks alongside plenty of lush greenery.

They'll be available in 16, 20 and 24 inches, whichever best fits your door, and each wreath will be made individually rather than to a fixed recipe.

They'll all share the same autumnal feel, but each one will be uniquely yours. I'll be sharing them here as they're made, so you can see the different designs as they come together.

Sometimes a single sentence is all the inspiration it takes for me to make a bouquet like this.

Every bouquet is different in its emphasis on colour, texture and shape, and being trusted to balance those things for my customers is something I approach with confidence and care.

I wanted this design to feel soft and grand, while still allowing you to appreciate the individual flowers and the bouquet as a whole.

I love this part of floristry — being given the trust to make something for your occasion. Something to make your presence known when you can't be there, or something of yourself to leave behind when the time comes to leave.

Everyone approaches them with different ideas, or even no ideas.

When you enquire, you can tell me whatever feels important to you — anything that you think would help me understand what you're looking to see or feel from the flowers on such an important day.

From there, I'll guide you through the designs and options that I feel would be most appropriate, helping you create something that feels worth saying goodbye with.

This casket spray was created using soft pastel blues, peaches and whites, with green foliage.
