I know this feeling only too well! My life’s coping strategy has always been to ‘stay in control.’ To fight the good fight.

But this year more than ever, I have learned that the fight isn’t always what’s good for us. That there is freedom in the surrender. Joy in taking the leaps! Peace in trusting the process...

Whatever your up-stream battle is today, I wish you a moment of courage to go with the flow. To take a deep breath and trust the process.

This weekend I ventured to the most remote pub on the Scottish mainland! Accessible only by ferry or an eight hour hike..!?

I drove from Oban to Mallaig, passing the Glenfinnan Monument and stopped at the stunning Silver Sands of Morar for a brew and comfort break!

met me in Mallaig with a scrumptious bite box which were well and truly enjoyed by all!

Then I boarded the ferry (clearly I wasn’t going to do the hike 😂) and sailed to Inverie to meet my incredible pals who’d completed the eight hour hike!

Staying at the .knoydart meant it was just a wee walk down to the for some recovery 🔥 and a swim…

…before walking to for dinner - the most remote pub on the Scottish mainland! We made it 🙌🏻

The food was incredible and as we’d hoped, a few folks struck up a tune or two 🎶

This is a breathtakingly stunning part of Scotland, with access to three Munros and views over to Skye. It was no wonder I sneaked my out for a quick wee paint too! 🎨

We’ll be back! 🏔️

Did you spot the new pen in previous posts….!?

When I first started creating journal box sets, folks suggested I should include a pen. It’s only taken a year! But here she is…a scrumptious, soft-touch, evergreen ball-point pen, engraved with ‘Wild About You.’
