Our recent lounge transformation. We uplifted and removed the existing carpet which uncovered a couple of issues which were easily fixable. The previous grippers that were down had too big of a gap to the skirting board which wouldnā€™t give us a nice , neat finish. So we took every gripper rod up and re prepped the floor to ensure a tight neat finish for the new luxury soft pile carpet. The carpet was fitted on our 9mm high density underlay

After fitting the 2 bedrooms, hallway and lounge in carpet , we also fitted the bathroom in Karndean marble effect tiles and we extended the kitchen herringbone LVT floor into the lounge area to make it more practical at the backdoor. As the subfloor was solid, we primed and screeded it to make it nice and smooth ready for the lvt to be fitted.

Kitchen utility fitted in Karndean Van Gogh witha grout line from design strips fitted brick bond. The sub floor was a mixture of wood and solid , so we used a blend of plywood and fibre reinforced screed
