We're supporting the Child Accident Prevention Trust for to remind parents and carers that these batteries are found in many toys, gadgets and remotes. If a child swallows one, it can be fatal.

✔️ Look around your home for button batteries - found in toys, remotes, gadgets and any spares
✔️ Store spare and used batteries safely and out of reach of children
✔️ Dispose of used or “flat” batteries straight away. Even “flat” ones can still cause serious harm.
✔️ Check that battery compartments are secure and that no batteries have fallen out.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and fault-finding work across domestic and commercial properties throughout the North West.

This role requires a motivated individual who can work independently, maintain high standards, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring all work complies with current regulations and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance works
* Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently
* Perform inspection, testing, and certification works
* Install and maintain:
* Consumer units
* Lighting systems
* CCTV systems
* Fire alarm systems
* Access control systems
* EV charging points
* Complete electrical condition reports (EICRs)
* Ensure compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations
* Maintain accurate job records and certification paperwork
* Liaise professionally with customers, contractors, and colleagues
* Participate in emergency callout work when required
* Ensure tools, equipment, and company vehicles are maintained safely

Essential Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
* AM2 qualification
* ECS/JIB Gold Card
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Experience in domestic and commercial electrical work
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications

* 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
* Experience with fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
* EV charger installation experience
