You may remember this one from a few months ago… 🏠

Planning was approved for this Brentwood home, and now building work is about to commence!

To celebrate World Architecture Day, we wanted to share a recent project we really loved working on. 🏛️✨

This stunning 5-bedroom home in Hertfordshire was designed for a client who loved the road so much, he bought the property next door to where he used to live!

We worked closely with our client to design a brand new home, combining classic proportions with clean, contemporary spaces. It wasn’t without its challenges though… an unexpected 1920s site covenant certainly kept us on our toes!

As with all our projects, this home was designed around how our client lives, with plenty of light, open spaces and personal touches – including a dedicated dog shower for those muddy walks! 🐾

We’re pleased to have secured planning permission for a small rear extension, garage conversion and internal alterations to this home in Doddinghurst.

The changes will create an additional downstairs bedroom/living space, along with a new utility room and pantry.

We’re pleased to have secured planning permission for this new four-bedroom chalet style bungalow on a plot of land in the Greenbelt in Nazeing.🎉

The house has been designed around family life, with a large dining and living space opening onto the kitchen, as well as a playroom upstairs.

It will also include a garage and plant room, making sure there’s plenty of practical space alongside the main living areas.

The house has been positioned to keep views through the site towards the open countryside to the north. Much of the land around the new home will remain open, with a community orchard creating a natural transition between the new house and the surrounding countryside.

🏡 Planning permission approved in Blackmore! 🎉

We’re pleased to have secured planning permission for a new one-bedroom house on a narrow plot in Blackmore.

The new home has been designed to make the most of the space available, with a kitchen and lounge/diner downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

The house will replace a disused domestic heating oil tank, making better use of what is currently an unused part of the cul-de-sac.

This was a resubmission of an application we originally secured approval for in 2022, after the previous permission expired.

This two-storey side extension and single-storey rear extension has allowed the owners to make much better use of their existing home.

One of the biggest changes was opening up the back of the house. The existing rear wall was removed, creating a better connection between the original house and the new extension.

We also redesigned the staircase to improve the flow through the house.

The extensions created much needed additional living space, while the new in-and-out driveway also improved access and parking.
