The Gallery is taking part in a fantabulous giveaway ✨alongside so many of our wonderful neighbouring businesses in honour of our long-time friend Trudi Burgess.
You may remember her incredible voice from her band Clearwater, and even bought one of her CD’s from the Gallery many moons ago.

Sadly, Trudi suffered a devastating attack that has changed her life forever, leaving her Tetraplegic. So we’re coming together to help raise money towards Trudi’s care.

We’ve had such a brilliant time today with for our belated staff Christmas do. December is far too hectic for us in retail, so we really got to enjoy this whole process today!

We learnt the process of metal smithing to produce a set of rings from brass and silver. From cutting, stamping out, soldering, filing and sanding.. I think we did pretty well ☺️ But we’re a creative bunch and had an excellent teacher!

Having a marvellous time in Andalusia, wandering through galleries and white washed streets to celebrate our joint 40th birthdays, as well as the upcoming Summer arrival of our twin boys!

Our fabulous staff are (and will be) holding the fort, while we get used to the new louder life once the babes arrive!

Celebrating the women of Kutch this International Women’s Day. Last year I was lucky enough to spend a month in India, visiting the very best craftspeople across the Kutch region. The women there could certainly be celebrated more. From the incredible hand embroidered dowries that every woman would take years to create, to the home spun liberation of India where women spun their own new type of cotton as a way of undercutting the oppressive colonial cotton trade.
What an incredible culture of strength, power and determination and bloody strong women ♥️

Have you seen our beautiful pyjama sets?

Hand block printed cotton, made in Jaipur. This time last year I was busy packing for my trip to India, where I was lucky enough to visit family-run tailors and print houses producing some of the most beautiful textiles, by hand ♥️

I made some wonderful connections with businesses and makers, and these pyjamas are a perfect example!
