The room is still taking shape. Its window colour is already part of the plan.

Finished in Farrow & Ball India Yellow No. 66 inside and Reduced Green No. 313 outside, this fixed timber casement window follows the same approach as the rest of the property: a consistent exterior, with internal colours chosen to suit the individual rooms designed by Project Home.

Manufactured in our Orpington factory, it was glazed directly into the frame on site by our experienced fitters, who also fitted the trims and completed the silicone finishing.

The surrounding internal work is still unfinished. We’re looking forward to seeing how the yellow comes together with the completed interior.

One colour outside, a different one in nearly every room.

These timber sash windows share the same exterior finish, while their internal colours were chosen to complement the room schemes designed by Project Home.

Antique brass locks and opening restrictors bring a consistent finish across the different internal colours, while decorative sash horns add traditional character to the exterior.

The house is still under construction, with internal finishing around the windows yet to be completed. We’re looking forward to seeing these colours alongside the finished interiors.

Three doors, one house, and no two of them doing the same job.

The timber front door has a more formal character, with decorative glazing, shaped panels and traditional details. The residential door and stable door take a simpler approach, with routed panels and lever–lever handles. On the stable door, the top and bottom sections open independently, adding flexibility to everyday use.

A shared colour, RAL 7032, and polished gold ironmongery bring all three together. Each entrance has its own purpose and character, while the consistent finish keeps the overall design connected.

One frame, two colours. Designed by Project Home, manufactured and installed by Grabex Windows.

Made in our Orpington factory, these French doors with sidelights are finished in Farrow & Ball Reduced Green No. 313 outside and India Yellow No. 66 inside. Clear glazing above raised panels gives them a traditional look, complemented by a heritage-style handle and concealed hinges in antique brass. The hinges stay hidden when the doors are closed.

We glazed the sidelights on site to keep the construction lighter for carrying to the rear of the house. Our experienced fitters completed the glazing and hinge adjustments while the surrounding building work continues.

A glimpse inside our timber joinery workshop in Orpington.

From glazing beads and Georgian bars to sash window sills and box frames, this is some of the work behind our made-to-measure timber windows.

Our experienced joiners work from raw timber, combining precise machining with skilled handwork. Cutting, shaping, assembly and hand sanding before painting all take place in-house.

Behind each finished window is a team. Each department brings its own expertise and takes responsibility for different details, building on the work of the team before it. That shared care carries through every stage of production.

A closer look at a pair of open-out timber French doors, fully finished in our Orpington factory and ready for installation.

These made-to-measure timber French doors are finished in RAL 9016 Traffic White and feature our standard glazing detail: chamfered Georgian bars externally with ovolo glazing beads internally.

Antique brass handles bring a warmer detail to the white timber, while matt nickel 3D hinges and an aluminium threshold complete the specification.

As a timber door manufacturer, we produce our doors in-house from raw timber at our Orpington factory; machining, assembling, finishing, glazing and fitting the hardware before they leave for site. Each set is made to measure for projects across London, Kent, Surrey and the surrounding areas.

A 20mm sightline takes more work than you might think.

In our Orpington factory, we manufacture HiVision 20 slimline aluminium sliding doors using the Cortizo - COR Vision system. Rather than traditional glazing beads, the aluminium profiles are bonded directly to the glass, a process that demands careful preparation, accurate positioning and precise finishing.

With the glass supported horizontally, our team fits the hardware to the cut-to-size profiles before applying the bonding silicone and bringing the components together. Further silicone finishing and cleaning follow the next day.

The doors shown here are finished in matt RAL 9005 Jet Black, with a slim 20mm interlocking profile that keeps the focus on the view.

Behind that minimal appearance is the work of experienced fabricators, carried out here in our own factory.

This shopfront began taking shape long before it reached Clapham.

In our Orpington workshop, the bespoke Meranti hardwood frames were manufactured to measure and finished with OSMO oil in Terra 3073, bringing out the natural grain while helping to protect the timber.

Once on site, the old aluminium frontage was removed and replaced with the new timber shopfront, manufactured, glazed and installed entirely by Grabex.

The warm timber finish feels entirely at home against Taverna Trastevere’s brickwork and reflects the character of a restaurant rooted in authentic Roman tradition.
