Our perfect autumn Sunday stroll around the neighbourhood! 🍂😎

Crisp air, beautiful autumn colours and a chance to slow down and appreciate the little things around us. Sometimes, the best way to find inspiration is simply to get outside and enjoy the surroundings.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 #𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂?

Home is shelter from the rain, the cold and the chill, and a cool, comfortable space on a hot summer’s day.

It’s the place you long for the moment you close the front door. The place where you meet family and friends, work, relax, entertain and create memories.

For us, home doesn’t have to belong to one particular country. It’s about the beautiful surroundings that connect us with the world and the feeling that a space creates.

Whether it’s the UK, Poland, Croatia, Australia or Japan, perhaps home is less about boundaries and more about honouring the moment, the people and the experiences that make a place feel like yours.

What makes a house feel like home to you?

We believe homes shouldn’t simply be filled with beautiful things. They should be furnished and decorated with objects that mean something to us, because that’s what makes a space feel truly personal and special.

For us, it has always been this vintage Moroccan table.

It has grown with us and travelled with us since 2009, moving from home to home and becoming part of our story along the way.

It’s not necessarily the most valuable or perfect piece in our home, but it carries memories and that makes it priceless to us.

We think the best interiors aren’t just about how things look. They’re about how they make you feel and the stories they tell.

What’s the one object in your home that you could never part with?

We loved working on this residential project in Benson, Oxfordshire, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see how the space has come together.

From the initial ideas and design stages through to the finished result, every project is a journey, and seeing our clients’ vision become a reality is one of the most satisfying parts of what we do.

We love how this home combines thoughtful design with spaces that are made to be lived in and enjoyed.

We don’t think creativity starts and stops at the office door.

The places we visit, the things we notice and the experiences we have all influence the way we see spaces, materials, details and design.

Sometimes inspiration comes from a building. Sometimes it’s a landscape, a historic detail, an unexpected combination of materials or simply the way people use a space.

As architects, we’re always looking, noticing and asking questions. Because great design isn’t created in isolation, it’s shaped by everything we experience beyond the drawing board.

Where do you find your inspiration?

𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲?

Designing spaces where people live beautiful lives is more than a project, it's a significant financial and emotional investment.

You want people who truly understand what matters to you. Who listen. Who care about getting it right.

So perhaps the real question isn't "Do you need an architect?"

It's "Are we your kind of people?"

If the answer is yes, we'd love to hear from you. Call us on: +44 (0) 1491 528912 or email [email protected]

Sometimes we spend so much of our time helping clients turn their visions into reality that it’s fun to stop and think about our own dream home.

So, if we were writing our own client brief, what would be on the must-have list?

▪️ A practical kitchen for both working and entertaining
▪️ A good-sized pantry
▪️ A separately accessed utility room, with a shower for the dogs!
▪️ An open-plan living space with a view
▪️ Unobstructed access to the garden
▪️ A large, mature garden
▪️ A BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating
▪️ And, of course, somewhere for a swing or hammock!

Wow… what a list!

But isn’t it interesting how quickly a dream starts to become a brief?

What would be on your dream home must-have list? 👇
