We recently had the pleasure of visiting in her Penzance ceramics studio. Swipe for some more photos from behind the scenes and some styled shots.

PS. The drop is tonight! Newsletter subscribers get first look at 6pm x

It is always fascinating to see the process and hear more about the ideas and the background to the work.

Visiting Jasmine was no exception! It was lovely to meet her in person and select some beautiful pieces as well as hearing how she became a ceramicist.

it wasn’t difficult to choose, every piece was beautiful!

*reader, we took them all.

Each piece is totally unique as they are slab and coil built then hand decorated. Made from Terracotta clay.

The swans are sooo gorgeous! I am not joking when I say I am tempted to keep a pair (and a vase!) perks of being a gallerist (or perhaps downfall of a gallerist?!!)

Can’t pick a favourite! 🖤🦢

I LOVE them!

Brilliant!

Swipe to see somw of the works in the gallery (my home!) Look how lush they look filled with flowers!

⭐️ 🖤 SO gorgeous!

🦢 💛 Each one is different…

Cowgirls and cowboys unite! I have a glorious collection of rootin tootin (yes I went there) handbuilt terracotta cowboy boot vases from dropping this Friday… They are the coolest! I have had many requests for more details so I think you guys like them!

Sign up (if you are not already signed up) to be at the front of the line at the preview on Friday. There are also some gorgeous swans that will be part of the drop. The last time I had a collection featuring swans and cowboys was from .gaiad and they sold out pretty much straight away 🦢 🤠

Watch to the end to enjoy some of the beautiful details, each one is different, it’s hard to pick a favourite!

Yee Haw!

This gallerist has woken up to two painting sales which is always a lovely start to the day!

Really happy with the collections I have hanging on the gallery (my home) walls, so many joyful, light filled, fun pieces… Had a little rehang yesterday and was honestly pinching myself about how lucky I am to live my life surrounded by so much creativity!

Yay to art and the artists who create it! 🩷✨🎉

PS. Some of the work shown will be available to buy soon! Mailing list people always get an early preview x

Loved this audio! The very words I live by and how I started an online gallery via Instagram stories and ended up shipping art across the UK and internationally on a regular basis!

I actually still don’t have a logo or a formal business plan but I’m doing it and it’s working! If I can turn my half baked idea into my dream business, so can you! Just get the really important bits right and the rest will follow… Emily x

PS. I’ve come a long since the Instagram story selling but I am evolving all the time, I’m only just getting started!

Art Matters!

Honestly, I am a firm believer that when it comes to interior design you should always start with the art! If you haven’t, it’s not too late. Be brave, pick a super cool statement piece that will take that room to another level in one easy step and make your interiors the envy of anyone who visits your home! Instant style kudos!

Not only that but it is scientifically proven to boost mental wellbeing, lifting your spirits everyday and becoming an integral part of your home. It can offer a hit of dopamine and take you to a special place, memory or time and help you feel connected to something far bigger!

Art is the crowning glory of any room, don’t skip it!

Do you agree?

Art drop from tonight!

When you buy a piece of art, do you ever wonder where it was created? How often do you know anything more than the name of the artist? Does it matter to you? Does it help you to connect to the art when you know more about the person who created it and the story behind it? Or is the most important thing the art itself with little explanation or background information? Perhaps you prefer a little anonymity to your art choices?!

There are no right answers here! Art is so personal and it, whether you like it or not, can be totally subconscious and you certainly do not need to ‘understand it’ to be able to appreciate it. Sometimes knowing more about the artist’s intention with a piece can mean it suddenly resonates though, it really varies…

I personally love seeing inside artist’s studios, I find it totally inspiring! I am interested in who or what inspires them, what they use to create their work, the process, their book collections, the snacks, everything!

Here is a peep inside loft art studio in Plymouth, what a feast for the soul! It was lovely to visit her recently to collect the beautiful pieces that are dropping for newsletter subscribers tonight! Emily x
