🐫🐪🐫 It's World Camel Day.

Camels are pretty cool animals.

🐪About 90% of camels have one hump.
🐫Contrary to popular belief they actually store concentrated fat in their humps, not water.
🐪They have sealable nostrils and two rows of eyelashes to protect against blowing sand.
🐫They have wide feet in order to distribute their weight so they don't sink in the sand.
🐪They can go 15 days without drinking, but when they find water they can drink up to 57 litres (15gallons) in minutes.

A few years ago now, my husband and I were lucky enough to go into the Sahara Desert on camels.
The intense heat, the silence, and the never ending sand is something we will never forget.
Any creature that can survive that sort of environment deserves some respect, and that's why camels are amazing🐪🐫🐪

🦒🦒🦒 It's World Giraffe Day today.

Giraffes have always been one of my favourites, and I hope one day I might see them in their natural habitat.

Being the tallest living creatures on earth, they are on the vulnerable list of endangered species with some sub species being critically endangered.

These amazing creatures - with their long necks, long tongues, unique markings and the ability to defend themseves from lions with just thirty minutes of sleep a day! - these animals are definitely worth looking after and saving🦒🦒🦒

🌈🌈This week I've been busy putting the first round of dots on my rainbow cards - a few more to do and then it's second, third and final dots as I build up the layers.

I've also been decorating my sugar skulls - another slower job, but they're getting done slowly but surely.

🌳🌳 Walking now, everything is so green, and it's as though the woods are bursting at the seams.

If you look carefully you can still spot interesting little details amongst the leaves, grasses and the never ending bracken (which is now over 6ft tall in places)🌳🌳

🩷💜🩷 RoseBuddleia is having a bit of a freshen up.

I have a new logo - which I will reveal very soon - that is lighter, brighter and is a bit more me.
With that comes new stickers, business cards and table runner - all of which I love!

I have also decided to update my packaging, so if you buy from my craft stall now, you will recieve everything in a pink bag (boxes for baubles)

It's all very exciting so watch this space for tge new logo 🩷💜🩷
