Dried flower wall panel 🍂

You’ll find this hanging at The Field Farmshop & Kitchen, the new farm shop in Flax Bourton opening soon! It was a treat to make something bespoke for them 🤎

I’ve also dropped off some dried flower bouquets to buy. The shop will be full of lots of other lovely things too, so I’d definitely recommend a visit once they open! 😊

How is it October?! 🍂

I’m thinking about next year a lot at the moment — expanding the beds at the field and planning what I want to grow more of... and I think I’m moving towards growing more specifically for dried flowers. They’ve become a real favourite, it suits how I grow, and how I fit it all around my full-time job — although studio space is a problem! But that’s a 2027 issue 😆

Excited to see where it all goes next yr!

So far I’ve sown:

Snapdragons, sweet rocket, perennial scabious, achillea, delphinium, cornflowers, larkspur, verbascum, saponaria, ammi M, ammi V, poppies and penstemon — just a few of the many on the list 🌱

Dried flower crown delivered this week 💙

It still amazes me that this is all naturally dried, and you can still get such striking colours!

Flowers include hydrangea (thank you Liz Liz maggs bristol British flower grower/wedding florist!), statice, larkspur, verbena and eryngium, with a little white from the strawflowers and ammobium, then some bunny tails to finish it off.
