David South was established in 1986, but its origins sprang from experience in the family business dating from 1936. The David South showroom is situated in a Victorian Mansion, in picturesque Nidderdale. The spacious room is an inspirational setting, enjoying good natural light with an extensive selection of pattern books for both fabrics, wallpaper, trimmings and carpets. You can pore over them
in comfort in front of a log fire surrounded by examples of my stock of period and new furniture. During the last couple of years we have undertaken, in addition to our curtain making and re-upholstery of old and new furniture, a new interior for a VW Camper van work for English Heritage at Mount Grace Priory and very recently upholstered the walls of a private cinema. We have worked with several antique dealers and for leading interior designers.
